Responsibilities

• Report safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Notify management of customer or employee accidents.
• Develop and train DSD Receiver back up.
• Ensure maximum security of receiving area.
• Inspect equipment and report items needing repair.
• Reinforce safety programs and identify unsafe conditions.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers; keep logs.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads.
• Manage inventory for all delivered product.
• Process damaged/returned goods and paperwork.
• Check condition, quantity, pricing, and temperature of received product.
• Ensure tools for shipping/receiving work properly.
• Monitor inventory/stocking conditions and ordering integrity.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to management.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Promote trust and respect among associates with a positive attitude.
• Work cooperatively in high paced and stressful environments.
• Manage conflict constructively.
• Operate with honesty and integrity regarding information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support interacting with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
