Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers. You will handle product placement, backstock, and keep work areas clean and organized, delivering friendly customer interactions and supporting store readiness during overnight shifts.

You’ll thrive in a team environment with basic tech use, follow established processes, and stay productive in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
