Job summary

Weis Markets in Leonardtown, MD is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead all grocery department operations, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain inventory and backroom organization.

You will schedule associates, coach and evaluate performance, implement merchandising plans, and collaborate with other departments to optimize displays and sales.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of retail management experience; training provided.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a high school diploma or GED.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business related field desirable.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in management of retail/supermarket environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all Grocery department operations and assists in total store operations as needed.
• Schedules associates, oversees training, and provides coaching and feedback.
• Maintains backroom organization and product storage, and ensures inventory integrity.
