Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the grocery department staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, wage percent, and profits for the grocery department.
• Maintain inventory levels to maximize sales and minimize excess stock.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to staff.
• Maintain department staffing and scheduling standards.
• Control shrink through stock loss program.
• Ensure backroom and aisles are properly maintained.
• Work with Store Manager, Grocery Manager and Receiver to maintain product levels and conditions.
