Job summary

ShopRite of Glenolden is seeking a team-oriented Associate to deliver great customer experiences in the Grocery Department. You will price, stock, rotate merchandise, and keep the area neat, clean, and visually appealing while following company policies.

The role requires the ability to read, write, speak English fluently, perform basic math, and lift up to 60 lbs. You will interact with Customers in a friendly manner and work cooperatively with team members.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, speaking and understanding English fluently.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash register operations.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Comfort with stocking, pricing, merchandising and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work cooperatively with others and follow schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, neat, and safe Grocery Department at all times.
• Stock and face shelves; ensure accurate pricing and label accuracy.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, trimming and rotating products.
• Operate or assist with equipment safely; report maintenance issues.
• Adhere to safety policies, QA standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain sanitation and ensure compliance with health regulations.
