Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Effective communication skills.
• Any retail experience.
• Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing).

Responsibilities

• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards.
• Promote trust and respect among associates and create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Answer customer questions about products and make suggestions to meet needs.
• Check product quality, review sell-by dates, and ensure fresh stock.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise, and provide customers with ordered items.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager and maintain safety practices.
