Job summary

Kroger in Emporia, KS is hiring an associate to create outstanding customer experiences through friendly service and a clean, safe shopping environment. You will assist the department manager in hitting sales goals and follow the Customer 1st strategy while upholding Kroger's core values of respect, integrity and safety.

You will answer questions about products, stock and label merchandise, monitor freshness and handle safety procedures.

• Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identifying unsafe conditions.
• Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying management of needed repairs.
• Notify management of customer or employee accidents and report safety risks.
