Job summary

The Save Mart Companies is hiring a Multi-Purpose Clerk for our San Pablo, CA store. This role may work in Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, or Janitorial to promote sales, help customers, and fulfill product requests.

You will handle products safely, stock and rotate items, and support store cleanliness and presentation. Requires 6 months related experience and a HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate in assigned department (Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, or Janitorial) to promote sales and assist customers.
• Respond to customer questions and fulfill product requests, including special orders.
• Practice safe food handling and maintain clean, stocked, and appealing departments.
• Perform POS and inventory tasks and log products for accuracy and quality.
• Complete duties in all departments including stocking, merchandising, and sanitation.
