Littleton's Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to oversee all daily store operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and profit-and-loss accountability. You will ensure profitable operations while maintaining food safety compliance, executing merchandising strategies, and delivering an exceptional customer shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must communicate verbally and written in the English language.
• Must engage customers in a friendly but proficient manner.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull 50 pounds.
• Must be able to lift, bend, crouch, etc.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand and walk continuously for 8-10 hours.

• Create and maintain weekly staff schedules based on business needs while controlling labor costs.

• Ensure guests receive exceptional service and address feedback to maintain high satisfaction.
• Monitor stock levels, manage vendor relationships, and track shipments to minimize out-of-stocks.

Job Summary

The Grocery Manager oversees all daily operations of the store, including staff supervision, inventory control, and profit-and-loss accountability. They ensure the store runs profitably while maintaining food safety compliance, executing merchandising strategies, and delivering an exceptional customer shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Have complete knowledge of the responsibilities of the Grocery Team Members and have the ability to perform any of the tasks from this position
• Create and maintain weekly staff schedules based on business needs, peak hours, and employee availability while controlling labor costs Review time-cards on a daily basis and report any issues to the payroll personnel
• Foster and maintain a respectful, professional and team-orientated work environment while being fair and consistent with employee
• Ensure the team is performing their roles and duties as assigned and hold them accountable when necessary
• Ensure all guests receive exceptional service. Respond promptly and effectively to guest feedback and ensure the resolution of any issues to maintain high customer satisfaction
• Monitor and order stock to maintain appropriate levels, manage vendor relationships, and track shipments to minimize out-of-stocks and shrinkage
• Regularly monitor department sales and develop and implement strategies to grow overall sales through all relevant avenues
• Review sales and revenue reports to understand and grow sales, revenue, and in line profitability with storewide goal
• Ensure KPI’s are completed weekly per protocols
• Keep products up to date in the POS system
• Support the maintenance and growth of the store and when necessary and able, assist other managers to achieve goals
