Kroger Hermitage, TN is seeking a Grocery Clerk Supervisor to plan, organize, train and direct associates, ensuring prompt courteous service and optimal store performance. You will help manage merchandise, pricing, displays and customer interactions while upholding Kroger's values.

This role requires strong leadership, multitasking, safety awareness and the ability to work weekends and holidays. You will supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and participate in inventories and promotions

Responsibilities

• Organize work and schedule associates for prompt service.
• Respond to customer and associate comments, complaints, and requests professionally.
• Use ordering systems to manage merchandise quantities and stock.
• Price, display and rotate merchandise; maintain signage and space allocation.
• Coach staff on merchandising, customer service and product presentation.
• Implement company programs and maintain harassment- and discrimination-free environment.
• Contribute input on budgets, goals and department profitability.
• Communicate with customers and associates to create a positive impression.
• Keep equipment and facilities safe and well-maintained.
• Maintain clean, sanitary floor, shelves and displays; track temperature logs.
• Assist with inventories, store resets, remodels, and promotions.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
