Price Rite of SPRINGFIELD, located in SPRINGFIELD, MA, is seeking a Grocery Lead Clerk for a full-time role in the Operations department. The position reports to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, with responsibilities including pricing, stocking, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

The ideal candidate will read, write and speak English, have basic math skills, be able to lift up to 60 lbs, and operate a Telxon scanner.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, and speaks English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Operates Telxon scanner.
• Pushes/pulls equipment.
• Follows directions and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Receive work task direction from Manager on Duty.
• Maintain pricing, facing and rotation of merchandise.
• Keep store clean, neat, and well stocked.
• Ensure safety requirements are enforced and equipment used properly.
• Communicate with MOD daily on issues and tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
