Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking friendly, service-oriented individuals for the Courtesy Clerk role. You'll provide excellent customer service at the check stand, bag groceries quickly, assist with carry-out, and help customers locate products.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, upholding six steps of extraordinary service, performing price checks, restocking, and maintaining cleanliness and safety across the store. Flexible schedule required.

Qualifications

• Friendly, courteous personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to learn store product locations and assist customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet all customers and team members while using Vallarta's six steps of extraordinary service.
• Bag groceries according to Vallarta's procedures and customer requests.
• Assist customers with carry-out service and locating products in the store.
• Perform accurate price checks as requested.
• Go-backs to return items to shelves promptly.
• Maintain store cleanliness in the store and parking lot.
• Safely gather shopping carts and monitor for safety hazards.
• Report injuries or unsafe conditions to management.
