Vallarta Supermarkets is hiring for a Courtesy Clerk to provide outstanding service at the front end, bag groceries, assist customers, and keep the store clean and welcoming. The role emphasizes friendly interaction, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with carry-out, locating products, performing price checks, and maintaining high housekeeping standards. Ability to work afternoons/evenings/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Friendly, courteous personality with strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail front-end environment.
• Must work a flexible schedule: afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet customers and team members while delivering extraordinary service.
• Bag groceries quickly and carefully, assist with carry-out, and help locate products.
• Maintain cleanliness in the store and parking lot, and perform custodial duties as trained.
• Perform price checks and return perishable items to shelves (go-backs).
• Gather shopping carts, operate safely with pallet jacks as trained, and report hazards.
• Keep store perimeters clean and stocked, and assist with spills and cleanup.
