ShopRite of Clinton is hiring a Food Service Clerk to deliver excellent customer service and support the Food Service Manager in daily operations. The role focuses on safe handling, food preparation, and maintaining a clean, organized department.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills required.
• Stand/walk for full shifts.
• Lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Operate department equipment per policy.
• Follow attendance and time policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Stock, clean, rotate products and maintain displays.
• Prepare products (salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, entrees) following recipes and standards.
• Ensure correct temperatures in displays and storage areas.
• Receive, store, and rotate products per QA standards.
• Follow safety, QA, and regulatory requirements.
• Dress and groom according to company policy; wear uniform and name badge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
