Job summary

Kroger is hiring for a store operations associate in Sammamish, WA. You will model Customer 1st behavior, ensure compliance with safety and merchandising standards, verify ad stock, and perform essential cashier duties when needed.

You will promote company initiatives, handle freight and inventory processes, supervise daily tours, and assist with maintenance requests while delivering strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of store alarms, sprinklers, printers.
• Commitment to customer service and welcoming environment.
• Ability to prioritize/multi-task with accuracy.
• Ability to read/interpret documents.
• Strong analytical and problem solving.
• Basic math skills and cash handling.
• Experience coaching/training preferred.
• Attention to detail and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Maintain compliance with Food Safety standards, merchandising, signing and recovery standards, stockroom standards, policies and safety guidelines
• Verify ads are in stock
• Perform early removal breakdown
• Promote and follow company initiatives
• Sell products to customers and perform cashier functions, when necessary
• Monitor freight receiving and stocking standards
• Follow up on daily tours
• Monitor and adjust the 15-minute chart
• Maintain an awareness of daily sales
• Manage all maintenance/repair needs
• Respond to customer comments/requests and complete incident/accident reports
• Process salvage and access on-line sales information
• Write Intersection Transfers
• Perform cashier duties (open/close register, scan/bag, cashiering, money drops, balance cash box)
• Must perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
