Job summary

Grocery Outlet Avocado Heights is hiring a Grocery Floor Associate to provide friendly, efficient service and keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and customer-ready. You will stock merchandise, assist customers, and operate the cash register.

The role requires reliability, teamwork, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Prior cashier or retail experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided to ensure great service and safe store operations.

Grocery Floor Associate

The Grocery Floor Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service while helping maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and customer-ready store. This position includes stocking merchandise, checking product dates, cashiering, cleaning, and assisting customers throughout the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock and replenish merchandise throughout the sales floor.
• Rotate products and check expiration and best-by dates.
• Remove expired, damaged, or unsellable merchandise.
• Keep shelves organized, faced, stocked, and presentable.
• Operate a cash register and accurately process customer transactions.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
• Assist customers with locating products and answering questions.
• Perform general cleaning duties throughout the store.
• Keep aisles, shelves, work areas, and customer areas clean and safe.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
