Qualifications

• Requires extensive retail background with prior management experience related to retail operations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage people.
• Knowledge of employment laws and workplace practices.
• Strong business and financial knowledge, and P&L familiarity.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and safety policies.
• Familiar with emergency plans and loss prevention strategies.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day operation of the Grocery Department, including scheduling and staffing.
• Supervises associates and department managers; trains and develops staff.
• Ensures product quality, rotation, pricing, and merchandise standards.
• Monitors shrink, safety, sanitation, and compliance with policies.
• Maintains department records and reports to Store Director.
