Responsibilities

• Manage the Grocery Department, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates and provide ongoing performance management.
• Daily management of labor and coaching to achieve productivity expectations.
• Promote a culture aligned with Food Lion Guiding Principles, Core Values, Vision and Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service with a positive shopping experience.
