Qualifications

• High School / GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Strong interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Proficient with computer applications used in department operations.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Possession of Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily operations in the grocery department.
• Supervise grocery team in stocking and store conditioning.
• Execute merchandising plans as outlines in department planners and event packs.
• Train and develop associates; provide coaching as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards.
