Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in retail or supermarket management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of Grocery department operations.
• Promotes customer relations and resolves inquiries in a polite, professional manner.
• Manages inventory, reviews orders, and ensures product availability.
• Schedules associates, coaches, and evaluates performance; plans overnight workloads if needed.
• Onboards new grocery staff and participates in annual performance reviews.
• Develops merchandising plans and creates attractive displays with cross-merchandising.
• Maintains backroom security, sanitation, and OSHA compliance.
• Controls payroll within budget and minimizes shrink through proper handling.
• Collaborates with other departments and supports continuous improvement.
• Assists with receiving, unloading, and stocking deliveries; PPE usage and training.

Education
