Job summary

ShopRite of Bayville is seeking a Grocery Manager to direct all functions of the Grocery Department and its associates, ensuring sales, profit, and excellent Customer Experience under the Store Manager's direction.

The role requires leading and training associates, maintaining safety standards, and upholding company priorities of Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, and Efficiency in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, speaks English fluently.
• Performs basic math calculations.
• Interacts with customers in a friendly manner.
• Leads and engages department associates to meet goals.
• Communicates effectively with team and store partners.
• Maintains flexibility to work various schedules.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Grocery Department.
• Lead and engage associates to achieve department goals (sales, profit, customer experience).
• Ensure safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency in daily operations.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and performance feedback for staff.
• Maintain proper staffing and adhere to attendance policies.
