Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager in San Angelo, TX to lead a grocery department team, uphold customer service, and drive store operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise stocking, interviewing, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and ensure safety and asset control. Requirements include 18+, HS diploma, CFSM certification, 1 year retail experience, ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year store experience.
• Must maintain Certified Food Safety Manager certification.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests entering the area.
• Assist with maintaining proper stock levels in grocery, dairy and frozen departments.
• Assist with interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations within the department.
• Enforce rotation procedures and manage dairy/frozen/grocery merchandising.
• Coordinate displays, seasonal merchandise, and purchase planning.
• Assist with backroom organization, safety, and asset control.
