Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Aim to bag at least five items per bag without damaging items.
• Bag items using appropriate bag types (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking as needed.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and promotions.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and manage bascarts.
• Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and in parking lot.
• Maintain store cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Know the store layout to locate products and perform price checks for cashiers.
• Adhere to safety programs and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Follow food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers and be helpful with product questions.
