Job summary

Kroger Co. in Seymour, TN is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to provide outstanding customer service, bag groceries, and keep the store clean and welcoming. This role supports store operations in a fast-paced environment and involves assisting customers, stock replenishment, and safety compliance.

Retail experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided. Candidates should be ready to engage with customers, follow procedures, and contribute to a positive shopping

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers
• Assist in loading bags into customers' cars
• Inform customers of grocery specials
• Return merchandise to store shelves
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas
• Clean spills, collect and pick up trash inside store and in the parking lot
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers
• Adhere to safety procedures and food safety guidelines
• Handle seasonal merchandise
• Provide friendly, efficient service to ensure a positive shopping experience
