Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a part-time Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger at our Litchfield Park, AZ location. You will bag groceries at checkout, help customers load bags into their vehicle, and keep the store clean and safe.

Responsibilities include assisting with shelf replenishment, confirming price checks for cashiers, and communicating promotions to customers. Prior retail experience is preferred but not required, and we promote a welcoming customer experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Strive to bag at least five items per bag and protect contents.
• Follow bagging best practices with various bag types.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom bascart at checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking as needed.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and promotions.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and collect bascarts.
• Maintain store and parking lot cleanliness; pick up trash and sweep spills.
• Understand store layout and locate products; perform price checks for cashiers.
• Assist in safety programs and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
