You will help customers carry bags, follow safety and food safety guidelines, and engage with shoppers to create a welcoming experience. Ideal for part-time, on-site workers, offering flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and assist customers
• Follow bagging best practices for different bag types
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car
• Perform basic shelf conditioning
• Inform customers of grocery specials
• Return merchandise to store shelves
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas
• Clean spills and collect trash inside store and in the parking lot
• Clean all areas inside and outside store
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
• Guide customers to products and conduct price checks for cashiers
• Adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
• Follow food safety regulations and guidelines
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs
• Create welcoming environment and answer product questions
• Follow local/state/federal laws and company guidelines
• Ability to work in high-paced environment
• Ability to manage conflict calmly
• Honesty and integrity in handling information
• Follow directions and seek help when needed
• Interact with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
