Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Grocery Clerk to keep shelves stocked and clean, assist customers, and adhere to department guidelines. The role requires basic math, product knowledge, and a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, rotating stock, weighing, labeling, and supporting inventory with a cross-functional team. Prior grocery experience is preferred; high school diploma required. Flexible hours and seasonality apply.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures cleanliness of grocery shelves, storage area, and work area for safety.
• Stocks grocery shelves; presentation, facing, filling, and organization as per schematics; ensure pricing accuracy.
• Rotates products and discards expired items.
• Assists customers with purchases and information.
• Receives, inspects, and logs products for shipment conditions and quality.
• Monitors promotional materials and price signs.
• Operates equipment such as scales, wrappers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Weighs and labels products accurately.
• Builds displays and builds back stock.
• Participates in pre-inventory preparation and maintains product knowledge.
