AG Supermarkets, Inc. is seeking part-time Grocery Clerks for our Laconia, NH store. The role focuses on merchandising, cleanliness, safety, and delivering friendly customer service. Evening and weekend availability is required to fit our store schedule.

Responsibilities include product knowledge, stocking, assisting the manager with unloading and storage, and helping customers with carryout services while following company policies to ensure a safe shopping environment.

AG Supermarkets, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Associated Grocers of New England, Inc., operates supermarkets in New Hampshire and Vermont. Customers shopping these stores find the most personalized, friendly service with the highest quality food products. We are currently looking for Part-time Grocery clerks (evenings, weekend availability) in our Laconia, NH store who are interested in working to gain experience in our Grocery Department learning all aspects of merchandising, cleanliness, and safety.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in a typical retail work environment, requiring:

• Frequent lifting, pushing, carrying, ad pulling of weights between 20-40 lbs., with occasional lifting over 40 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods (90% of the time) and walking (10%).
• Frequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, bending, and reaching above and below waist level.
• Working in various temperature environments, including:
  • Freezers (extreme cold)
  • Outside temperatures (2% of the time)
  • Receiving areas with occasional humidity or wet flooring
• Hard tile/cement flooring and anti-fatigue mats.

Required: slip-resistant footwear and various cleaning supplies.

Machines, Tools, and Equipment used: Baler, Pallet Jack, Uboats, and box cutters.
