Job summary

Gerrity's Supermarkets Grocery Clerk position is open to support the department and provide friendly, efficient service to customers. You will stock and rotate shelves, maintain back stock, and keep the sales floor neat and safe.

Qualifications

• No minimum educational requirement.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to stand, walk and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate and dress grocery shelves.
• Maintain and organize back stock.
• Maintain the sales area neat and sanitary.
• Inform price changes and report pricing inaccuracies.
• Maintain daily specials and replenish shelves with correct labels.
• Verify products and shelf labels for accuracy.
• Be at workstation at the start of your shift.
• Comply with safety policies and dress code.
• Adhere to the Customer Service Pledge.
• Attend your job and follow department policies.
• Follow all Essential Functions as designated.
