Job Title: Grocery Clerk I

Reports To: Center Store Manager

As a Grocery Clerk, your role involves stocking shelves to make grocery shopping easy and enjoyable for guests. You will help keep shelves stocked, products fresh, and the store organized, ensuring guests can find what they need quickly. Your attention to detail and friendly service contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued. Job Description

What You’ll Do:

• Provide Helpful Service: Deliver excellent guest service through friendly greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and courteously.
• Stock & Display: Stock aisles, ensure products are fresh, properly rotated, and well-stocked.
• Offer Assistance: Help guests locate products and suggest alternatives when appropriate.
• Receiving & Inventory Support: Unload deliveries, organize stock, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Collaboration: Work with the Grocery Department Manager and team to meet goals.
• Clean & Organize: Keep the department clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
• Problem-Solving: Address guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Meet Goals: Ensure shelves are fully stocked by scheduled times.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and communicate absences appropriately.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• A helpful attitude and commitment to guest service.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Awareness of safety policies, including proper lifting and equipment safety.
• Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, forklifts, and other machinery (training provided).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands include standing for long periods, working in coolers, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 40 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks. Sensory abilities are necessary to monitor the store and operate equipment. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position with a schedule that may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
