Job Title: Grocery Clerk I

Reports To: Center Store Manager

As a Grocery Clerk, you will ensure grocery shopping is easy and enjoyable for guests by keeping shelves stocked, products fresh, and the store organized. Your attention to detail and friendly service help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued. Job Description

What You’ll Do:

• Provide Helpful Service: Deliver excellent guest service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and with care.
• Stock & Display: Stock aisles, ensure products are fresh, properly rotated, and well-stocked.
• Offer Assistance: Help guests locate products and suggest alternatives when appropriate.
• Receiving & Inventory Support: Unload deliveries, organize stock, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Collaboration: Work with the Grocery Department Manager and team to meet goals.
• Clean & Organize: Keep the department clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
• Problem-Solving: Address guest concerns professionally.
• Meet Goals: Ensure shelves are stocked by designated times.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and communicate absences appropriately.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• Helpful attitude and commitment to guest service.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, forklifts, and other tools (training provided).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical requirements include standing for long periods, working in coolers, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally. Sensory abilities are needed for monitoring the store and operating equipment. Accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position with a schedule that may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
