Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Preferred 1-2 years grocery retail experience in Grocery department processes and procedures.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness of grocery shelves, storage area, and work area for safety.
• Stocks grocery shelves; presentation, facing, filling, and organization as set by the Grocery Department.
• Examines rotation of products and discards expired items.
• Assists customers with purchases, information and product selection.
• Receives, inspects, and logs products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality.
• Maintains knowledge of products and sustains organized department.
• Walks department to ensure clean appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.
