Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a reliable team member to help maintain clean, well-stocked grocery shelves and assist customers with purchases and selections.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of grocery retail experience; experience in natural foods is a plus. Candidates should be flexible with hours and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Preferred 1-2 years grocery retail experience in Grocery department processes and procedures.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness of shelves, storage area, and work area for safety; cleaning shelves, floors, and debris.
• Stocks grocery shelves with product, pricing, and organization per schematics; ensure tag accuracy.
• Examines rotation of grocery products and discards expired items.
• Assists customers with purchases and product selection; cross-sell where appropriate.
• Receives, inspects, and logs products for shipment accuracy and quality.
• Monitors purchase signs and provides recipe cards and promotional materials.
