Rivers Co-op Markets in Stillwater is hiring a full-time grocery clerk to support a community-owned store in downtown Stillwater. You will interact with customers, maintain shelves, and ensure product quality and safety in a friendly, cooperative environment.

Experience-based pay ranges from $16.90 to $18.15 per hour. Weekend and evening availability is required; candidates without weekend availability will not be considered.

Rivers Co-op Markets is hiring a full-time grocery clerk!

Experience-based pay ranging from $16.90 - $18.15 per hour

Must have availability to work weekends. Candidates without availability to work weekends will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform established opening and closing procedures according to timeline determined by department manager
• Receive shipments
• Sort and stock merchandise
• Ensure items returned, damaged, or dated are accurately recorded and properly disposed of
• Assist customers with placing and picking up of special orders and provide price checks as requested
• Follow all directions accurately and in accordance with established production guidelines

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Able to perform basic arithmetic including counting, addition, and subtraction
• Able to repetitively lift and carry 25 lbs, and occasionally 50 lbs
• Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation
• Able to remain on feet for long periods of time
• Able to spend time working in refrigerated spaces
• Availability to work including weekends and evenings

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

Must be physically able to occasionally grasp, grip, pull, push, twist, and turn as needed.

Constant (67-100%) Walking, standing, lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds floor to waist, talking, hearing, correctable vision including near acuity and depth perception

Frequent (34-66%) Bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, lifting/reaching waist to shoulder, lifting/reaching above the shoulder
