Job summary

El Super in Escondido, CA is hiring a Grocery Clerk for Store #29. Under direct supervision, you will assist customers, keep displays clean, and rotate self-serve sections across shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence and communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lb, frequently up to 45 lb, and occasionally up to 60 lb.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers.
• Assist customers, clean display cases, and clean shelves.
• Clean, fill and rotate self-serve displays.
• Work hours including nights and weekends; perform heavy lifting and bending as needed.
