Qualifications

• Licenses: None required.
• AGE: Minimum 16 years old; 21+ to sell tobacco/alcohol.
• Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand spoken word for prompts and requests.
• Equipment to complete courtesy clerk duties.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit and develop customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote a high level of morale within department and store via friendly, professional communication.
• Maintain good working relationships with other department managers to improve sales storewide.
• Comply with all company policies, programs and directives as in the Code of Conduct.
• Provide professional examples for other store team members to follow.
• Bag guests’ purchases promptly and carry to their automobiles in a friendly, prompt manner, ensuring safe placement.
• Fill all bag slots and supplies for efficient front-end operations.
• Assist with price checks and go-backs.
• Assist with general housekeeping and sweep sheet duties as assigned.
• Keep the parking lot clear of carts and return them to proper location; follow safety policies for cart retrieval; wipe kids' carts.
