Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking Grocery Clerks to work across multiple store areas, from Dry Grocery to Dairy and Frozen, stocking shelves and assisting customers in a fast-paced environment.

You may be responsible for receiving deliveries, ensuring accuracy, and moving products to the sales floor. A positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork are essential, with ability to multitask and lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule that changes, including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show a mutual respect for others, maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Have good communication skills; and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Be able to perform repetitious activities, and can multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must transfer boxes weighing up to 60 lbs., from 5” to 34”, for a distance up to 5 feet for up to 25 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves across departments (Dry Grocery, Dairy, Frozen).
• Fill the frozen foods bins and assist in maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the store.
• Receive product deliveries, ensure delivery accuracy, and move product to the sales floor with equipment.
• Rotate merchandise to ensure the freshest product is available for customers.
