Job summary

North State Grocery in Alturas, CA is looking for dedicated staff to assist in various tasks within the Grocery Department. Tasks include the unloading of merchandise, stocking shelves efficiently, building store displays, and ensuring the rotation of perishable goods.

Our ideal candidate will also assist customers and maintain a neat appearance according to company standards. This position operates on the graveyard shift, focusing on maintaining stock levels and following established procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading the merchandise.
• Transport stock for storage in stock areas.
• Stock merchandise to shelf with high efficiency.
• Keep store shelves fully stocked according to shelf tag-location-schematic.
• Assist in building store displays.
• Keep perishable merchandise rotated and pull out-of-date product as needed.
• Control level of damaged goods.
• Properly present assigned section prior to leaving at the end of scheduled shift.
• Observe policies and procedures established for each department.
• Greet customers who come into the store and be observatory.
• Maintain a neat appearance according to company's dress code policy.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.

Job Summary: Receiving, Breaking Down, Stocking, Rotating, Merchandising, Facing & Presentation Perfection in all of Grocery Department.
