Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Mason City, IA is seeking a full-time Grocery Clerk to stock shelves, assist customers, and maintain store cleanliness. You will help ensure a smooth shopping experience and may advance toward department leadership based on performance.

Responsibilities include cash register use, inventory tasks, and occasionally handling e-commerce orders. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and a friendly, outgoing attitude to serve customers well.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and some evenings.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work with others.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Previous experience in the grocery business or a related field is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize daily.
• Cashier duties including operating a POS system.
• Unload product from trucks and stock shelves.
• Price and display product signs.
• Sack groceries and offer carryout service.
• Record and report inventory counts.
• Assist customers in shopping.
• Potential to perform E-Commerce duties like picking orders.
• Potentially order product for a section.
• Other duties as assigned.
