GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Fort Madison, IA is seeking a part-time Grocery Clerk to support daily operations in the grocery department. You will stock shelves, assist customers, and ensure clean, organized store presentation.

The role requires good interpersonal skills, teamwork, and basic math. You may also handle cashier tasks and possibly some e-commerce duties. Must be able to work Saturdays and some evenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years old.
• Able to work Saturdays and some evenings.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work with others.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Previous experience in the grocery business or a related field is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize daily.
• Cashier duties, including checking out customers and operating a POS system.
• Unload product from the truck to stock shelves.
• Stock shelves with products for customers to purchase.
• Price and display product signs.
• Bag groceries and provide carry-out service to customers.
• Record and report accurate inventory counts.
• Assist all customers in their shopping.
• Potential to perform E-Commerce duties, such as picking customer orders and taking orders to vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.
