Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Clerk to work across several store areas, including Dry Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen. You will stock shelves, assist with deliveries, and help keep the store clean and well-presented for customers.

This role requires a positive attitude, excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy, including lifting up to 60 lbs. Flexible scheduling is needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work flexible schedule that changes, including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show a mutual respect for others, maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Have good communication skills; and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Be able to perform repetitious activities, and can multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 60 lbs., from 5” to 34”, for a distance up to 5 feet for up to 25 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves across Dry Grocery, Dairy and Frozen Departments.
• Assist with receiving product deliveries and ensure delivery accuracy.
• Rotate merchandise to maintain freshest products for customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentation in assigned areas.
• Move products to sales floor using equipment where needed.
