Job summary

El Super is hiring a Grocery Clerk at store #66 Las Vegas - East Tropicana Ave. Starting rate is $14.50 per hour. The role involves assisting customers, keeping displays clean, stocking self-serve areas, and working varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

The position requires physical stamina and basic PC/Outlook skills. Training and advancement opportunities are available within the El Super Store Operations team.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and coworkers.
• Apply common-sense understanding to follow detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous customer service.
• Assist customers and keep display cases clean and neat.
• Clean, fill and rotate self-serve displays.
• Work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required.
