Job summary

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Clerk to keep shelves stocked and clean, and to assist customers with purchases in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain product knowledge, support shelf presentation, and adhere to Health Department guidelines while working with a cross-functional team. Previous grocery retail experience is preferred; High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• 1–2 years grocery retail experience preferred.
• Natural foods industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep grocery shelves clean and stocked during business hours.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection.
• Rotate stock and discard expired items.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and tag integrity.
• Operate equipment safely ( knives, scales, wrappers, etc.).
• Support pre-inventory preparation and back stock.
