Kroger in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Grocery Clerk/Cashier to provide outstanding customer service at the check lane. You will process transactions, assist customers, stock shelves and maintain safety and cleanliness throughout the store.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math.
• Ability to memorize produce items and sale items.
• Effective communication and reading skills.
• Must be 18 years old.

Responsabilités

• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently, using the POS system.
• Rotate merchandise according to dating policies and ensure product freshness.
• Greet, engage and assist customers.
• Maintain knowledge of products and make recommendations.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Stock and label merchandise and manage inventory.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, etc.).
• Maintain food safety temperatures and logs.
• Report discrepancies to store management.
