Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Dallas, TX is hiring a Grocery Clerk for Store 074 Dallas Garland Rd. You will greet customers, stock and clean displays, and assist with self-serve areas in a fast-paced grocery environment. This role requires bilingual abilities (Spanish/English), ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with customers and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service.
• Assist customers, clean display cases, and clean shelves.
• Clean, fill and rotate the self-serve displays.
• Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting, bending and stooping for long periods.
