Grocery Clerk (Finance)

Essential Job Functions:

1. Help customers discover and inquire about products.
2. Inform customers of specials and recommend items to meet their needs.
3. Check product quality, review "sell by" dates, and take appropriate action.
4. Provide customers with ordered grocery products.
5. Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
6. Report discrepancies to the manager.
7. Stay current with ads and promotions.
8. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
9. Maintain product knowledge and respond to customer questions and suggestions.
10. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
11. Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
12. Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
13. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
14. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
15. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
16. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
17. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Salary Range: $17.50 - $22.61 per hour.
