Key Responsibilities:
- Inform customers about food specials and recommend products to meet their needs.
- Check product quality, review "sell by" dates, and take appropriate action.
- Provide customers with ordered grocery products, both fresh and non-perishable.
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
- Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to the manager.
- Stay updated on current, upcoming, seasonal, and special promotions.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, keeping logs as required.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge about products and assist customers with questions and suggestions.
- Create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and appreciated.
- Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and participate in preventive maintenance.
- Notify management of accidents or injuries.
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Manage conflicts professionally and ethically.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues.
- Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Salary Range: $15.25 - $15.90
