Big Y Foods, Inc. is hiring a Grocery Clerk to provide an exceptional customer experience by presenting and ensuring the freshest quality products. The role includes stocking, blocking, rotating, and leveling grocery items while keeping the department clean and organized.

You will answer customer questions with product knowledge, follow store policies, and be willing to cross-train in other areas. A flexible schedule is required, and applicants must be at least 18 years old to operate machinery;

Job description

The Grocery Clerk is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by presenting and ensuring the freshest quality product. The Grocery Clerk maintains department conditions, to include, stocking, blocking, rotating, and leveling grocery products. They also maintain department conditions and cleanliness in the grocery areas and handle customer inquiries while providing product knowledge.
