Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a Grocery Clerk to help keep the grocery section well-stocked and organized at our Heflin location.

You will assist customers, receive and stock products, rotate inventory, and support displays while following company policy on damages and credits. This role requires physical lifting and knowledge of store layout.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with store products and their locations to assist customers.
• Ability to lift and carry items as part of stocking duties.

Job description

Grocery Clerks are responsible to make sure the grocery section of the store is well-stocked for our customers. They assist in receiving, storing, and stocking of products while ensuring proper product rotation and quality. They create and build product displays, ensure proper fronting of products, and handle product damages and credits according to company policy. Grocery clerks must me familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers in locating items.

Requirements/Responsibilities
Must be able to frequently lift 35 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.Must be at least 18 years of age.High School education preferred, or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
