Responsibilities:

1. Inform customers of specials and recommend products to meet their needs.
2. Check product quality, ensure freshness, and review "sell by" dates.
3. Provide customers with ordered grocery products, both fresh and non-perishable.
4. Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise accurately.
5. Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping to management.
6. Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions and ads.
7. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.
8. Maintain knowledge of products and assist customers with questions and suggestions.
9. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
10. Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report them.
11. Perform equipment inspections and notify management of repairs.
12. Report accidents involving customers or employees.
13. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
14. Handle customer and business information with honesty and integrity.
15. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
16. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
17. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
